Gold Award at the EU Product Safety Award

We are delighted to congratulate Sascha Raithel, Setareh Heidari, and Jan von Schlieben-Troschke from Freie Universität Berlin on receiving the Gold Award in the Researchers category at the EU Product Safety Award. This prestigious recognition is presented by the European Commission to honour outstanding contributions to product safety and consumer protection.
The award highlights their influential work in establishing a comprehensive framework for the effective recall of unsafe products – an area of critical importance in today’s global marketplace.
The accolade celebrates their book Product Recall Management: Preparation, Execution and Recovery. Their collaborative effort delivers both rigorous research and practical insights into managing product recalls with impact and integrity, bringing academic excellence into real-world practice.
We would also like to thank the many people who supported this project, including Shishi Liu, Senait Tenaw, Alexander Mafael, Dr. Stefan Hock, and Harald Van Heerde.
